Registered Nurse (RN)
Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a pivotal role in providing skilled nursing care to clients in the comfort of their homes. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to ensure the well-being of clients and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments of clients' health and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and evaluate clients' medical conditions, symptoms, and vital signs.
Educate clients and their families about their health conditions and care plans.
Coordinate and communicate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Supervise and support Home Health Aides and other care staff as needed.
Maintain accurate and complete client medical records.
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and agency policies.
Assist in the development of emergency care plans and respond to medical emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in client care.
Provide wound care, injections, and other skilled nursing services as required.
Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment.
Assess and address the psychosocial needs of clients and provide emotional support.
Qualifications:
Current and valid state RN license.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Previous nursing experience, preferably in home care or a similar setting.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Compassion and empathy for clients and their families.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Working Conditions:
